DISTRiX may be supplied with its own integral hierarchical database for those customers large or small who need lightning fast response times at an acceptable cost. Alternatively, corporate users may optionally wish to utilize SQL / Oracle databases at a cost premium. Similarly, DISTRiX may be deployed on economical Intel server platforms. Alternatively, for those environments needing salability, or 99.9% availability, DISTRiX may be deployed on Intel / Linux, HP Integrity, HP PA 9000 RISC or SUN SPARC platforms.
