Preventative Maintenance
Feature and functional capabilities are highly customisable according to the customer operations. DISTRiX allows maximum flexibility beyond the scope of this document.
DISTRiX allows equipment of any type ( e.g. truck, computer, MRI scanner ) to be held, described and reported according to eight levels of hierarchy ( i.e. serial number, batch number, product type) of which each level may be specifically validated according to business rules.
All equipment can be linked to particular 'home' sites and tracked as they move through the organisation with their maintenance schedules following them as they move.
Maintenance schedules, recalibration schedules and the equipment contract status are held and reported. Equipment records can be held up to 15 years for easy recall and safety purposes.
Access into the integrated field service system is available through the PM module thus allowing equipment problems to be logged and passed for scheduling for repair.
Preventative Maintenance
DISTRiX enables the elimination of unplanned and very costly down time though unexpected equipment failures. DISTRiX equipment tracking module provides planned preventative maintenance and equipment re-calibration.
DISTRiX assists with Preventative Maintenance by:
* individual engineers stock held on system
* automatic replenishment of engineers stock
* full equipment/contract tracking
* journal note available at equipment/contract level
* automatic generation of next service due, next calibration due dates
* tracking of repairs sent to specialist of outside suppliers
